Download a CopyMore About the PositionG.R.O.W. is an innovative transitional life skills day program for young adults (post high school) with social and intellectual disabilities, G.R.O.W. focuses on preparing program participants for independent living through life skills training, opportunities for socialization with peers and engagement in community life.
The program curriculum, developed in conjunction with the University of Manitoba Occupational Therapy Department, is aimed at teaching life management skills, social skills development, health and healthy living, recreational skill development, and skills that will enhance vocational opportunities. This initiative evolved from the success of the G.R.O.W. in Gimli Program.
